Project Description

Inspired by the river flowing through Hanoi, Vietnam, fertile delta and abundant nature of Vietnam, this project takes on the project concept "Infinite Flow." The greatest aspiration of this proposal is to prosper without limits into the future, by creating seamless connections between key urban elements and human centered experiences revolving around greenery and waterscapes. The incorporation of technology and sustainable measures will promote a smart living and innovation to the city. This proposal was part of an urban planning design competition on an unnamed site.

The project is designed with axes that serves as spines that span the entire district east to west and north to south. The symbolic spine is a pedestrian oriented road filled with greenery to link the various zones.

The placemaking concept of a people-oriented city was key, applied through numerous building typologies, road planning, and landscape. The waterfront park will be the enhancement to the abundant nature in the region.

Being the centre of the concept, the Circle works as the connection between the zones, buildings and people, acting as the key destination. Various amenities such as malls, hospitals, schools will be located around this area.

High rise condominiums contribute to the skyline bridging the taller mixed use, hospitality, office buildings and shorter buildings. Views are maximised through clever orientation planning.
